To all the Ruff chasers out there- the bird was present until about noon today. At that time, a large group was watching it (respectfully) when some of the birds took off and headed over towards Wright Marsh (east of 226 from the pond). My guess is that it is still in the area, so it may be worth a check on Wright Marsh. It may also come back to the pond, but it is not there at least temporarily. There are still many yellowlegs and pectoral sandpipers, along with 1 Dunlin that is just starting to molt into summer plumage. Speaking of molt, based on the photos I have seen from earlier in the week, I would say that the Ruff already has more black feathering on the face and chest than when it was originally found.

Good Birding,
Steve
