During an unsuccessful search for drumming Ruffed Grouse at Shawnee on
Saturday morning, I heard a singing Louisiana Waterthrursh along Odle
Creek Road. Also, two singing Pine Warblers on apparent territory near the
parking lot at the road to the lodge and also at the camp ground. Also, a
singing Brown Thrasher on territory on Odle Creek Road and a singing Winter
Wren gearing up for more northern breeding. On my way to Texas and LRGV
right now.
