Tonight, Steve Miller and I observed 6 rusty blackbirds feeding in a wet
field between a wet area and a wooded area.
There were 4 males and 2 females.
At least one of the males was showing some brown and the females both had
light colored eyes.

This was near the intersection of Hillgrove-Southern Road and St. Rt. 502
west of Greenville.

Other reports today from Darke County included
lesser and greater Yellowlegs and many ducks at Woods Road wetland(private,
but right near the road)
Pectoral Sandpipers and Wilson's Snipe at the Elroy wetland(Town of Elroy
west of Ansonia)
Many br. Creepers, Yellow-belly Sapsuckers, white Throated sparrows, Tree
Sparrows, White Crowned Sparrows and 2 Phoebes at Shawnee Prairie Preserve.
