I spent just under an hour at this nature preserve & park in eastern Gahanna (suburb east of Columbus) this morning, and found a subtle change-over in migrants. Gone or nearly so were many of the temperate migrants that had been so common for the past few weeks, mostly replaced by singing neotropical residents. The final tally included:

Flycatchers - 2-3 each of Wood Pewee, Acadian Flycatchers, and Great Crested Flycatchers, all calling.
Swallows - lots of Barn Swallows & Rough-wings, along with a handful of Tree Swallows
Vireos - 1 singing White-eyed plus 6-7 singing Red-eyed
Wrens,Gnatcatchers - plenty of Carolina & House Wrens, but only 3-4 Blue-gray Gnatcatchers
Thrushes - 2-3 Wood Thrushes and 7-8 Swainson's, a significant influx of the latter
Mimids - 10+ Gray Catbirds and 1 N.Mockingbird
CedarWaxwings - a pair feeding on buds at the edge of the Woods
Warblers - 12 sp., with only 1 Yellow-rumped. Also had Yellow, Nashville (3), Tennessee, Magnolia (4), Chesnut-sided (5), Blackburnian (2), Black-thr.Green, Bay-breasted, Black&White, AmerRedstart (2), Ovenbird (5), Hooded
Tanagers,Grosbeaks,Buntings - 2 Scarlet Tanagers, 1 Rose-br.Gorsbeak, 2-3 Indigo Buntings
Sparrows - Chipping & Song, but no White-throated or White-crowned
Icterids - Redwings, Grackles, Cowbirds, 2 male Baltimore Orioles
