Went to try for the Black Terns today at Oldfield Beach near Lakeview OH. The wind was so bad that there was barely anything left on the beach, and the kids jumping around didn't help either. :-)

I am gonna try again in a couple of days, but they are probably in Canada right now. :-D

Got some nice closeups on some Common Terms. I put one on the Birding Ohio facebook group. It provided some good discussion on the differences between the Forster's and Common. Kenn K. Gave some great ID tips.

Other than that, just typical gulls and a Caspian Tern. Plus a Dunlin and two Spotted Sandpipers.

Have a great week!
