May 16th I had the first male and female Hummingbirds.  Other watchers- here- had not seen them before this time.  Usually they arrive in NE Ohio- Trumbull Co - around May5th.

Another observation was bloom - Scarlet Flowering Quince, Dogwood, Money Plant & Columbine were all blooming at the same time this year.  Rhododendrons are usually in full bloom

about Armed Forces Day   this year it was May 20th before the blossoms opened.              Another note: I have less House Sparrows!  I've read that they are declining in England.???
