Greetings - Robert Hershberger (Time & Optics ) created and is hosting "Ohio Optics Fling" June 7-8th (from 7:30 to 5 pm each day). For those that are researching optics, looking into digiscoping, looking for some key birds (Blue Grosbeak, Lark Sparrow, Barn Owl, and more) or looking forward to meeting up, this is a chill event to visit. Greg Miller and the Kaufmans will be signing books, the Ohio Young Birders Club will be represented, plus door prizes every half hour, free coffee and donuts from a local bakery, discounted prices on optics, used books and magazines for review and purchase, and more. Robert is our Numero Uno source for optics and a highly, highly respected member of the Ohio birding community. Whether you are looking to sample optics, looking to talk birds, or looking to enjoy an ace weekend in the field with fellow birders, check out this great event. Several field trips are on the schedule. I'm psyched to guide and assist birders to seek Blue Grosbeaks at "the Hill". Greg Miller is pumped to show you the intricate and artistic nests of Cliff Swallow colonies. Get a jump on summer birding. 6954 CR 77, Millersburg, OH, 44654. 330-674-0210 will put you through to Robert.
