Thanks to everyone who has offered suggestions.  The most mentioned is the 
Mockingbird, and I can't completely disagree.  It was definitely  
mockingbird-sized, rather than the smaller Blue-grey Gnatcatcher.  Bill 
Heck stated that Scissor-tailed Flycatcher has been reported in Ohio this 
time of year, although rarely.  If anyone travels the same stretch of 
Riverside Drive in the next few days, it might be worth keeping an eye out.
