This morning I welcomed the Bobolinks back to Ohio at the Krabill Shelter in
the Medina County park on the west side of Chippewa Lake. The males were
quite busy chasing one another and being chased by Red-winged Blackbirds in
squabbles over the best nesting territory in the fields near the parking
lot. They have nested in these fields for several summers and should like it
that the agricultural fields are in wheat this year instead of soybeans.
