Looking at Glossy at 8:40am at the second bend in the boardwalk when walking out from the parking lot. Look east 20 yards beyond osprey platform before the stand of dry cattail.

The glossy ibis was observed through at least 7:45 tonight at the Honda wetlands in Glacier Ridge metro park (nw Franklin co). When I left, it was in an open area in the cattails to the east of the boardwalk. If you take the boardwalk north from the parking lot to just past the third bend and look to the right, you will see an area of short green foliage among the tall dead cattails (maybe 30 yards out) which is where it was feeding. It was often hidden from view as it worked along the near edge of the last year's cattails.
