Is it a coincidence that a Western Grebe was seen Friday, and yesterday, Saturday June 22nd, at Presque Isle State Park, next door in Erie County, Pennsylvania. Could this be the same Western Grebe seen at Headlands Beach last Saturday and Sunday. Mark Vass first reported the Presque Isle Western Grebe early Friday evening. It was still being seen off of Gull Point at 11:50AM Saturday; yesterday morning. Presque Isle is located about thirty miles east of Conneaut and the Ohio border.
