Tim & I headed to Tuscarawas Co. this morning in search of grassland birds. We struck out on some previously seen Grasshopper, Henslows & Lark sparrows but had great success with a pair of Blue Grosbeaks at the same spot where they were found earlier in the month, on Lehley Hill Rd., just south of Stingy Ln. intersection. Beaurtiful looks at a singing male and a nearby female, seen between 11:00 am and 11:30 am.
