Thanks to Kurt Stein for alerting us of the sighting of the snowy  egret.

The snowy egret and at least 5 great egrets were observed at Englewood
Metropark at the north end where they used to feed the ducks.  The snowy  egret
was easily visible from the mowed path that leads to the bridge toward the
Stillwater River.  It was actually in the smaller pond north  of the lake
about 10 feet from the shore.
