For the last three days, we have had a Red-headed Woodpecker coming to our
suet feeder at Congress Farm, just north of Wilmington.  It appears to be a
full adult (after third year) in that all the wing feathers seem to be of
the same generation.  It is interesting to us because we seldom get
red-heads here despite the presence of a colony in the Todd's Fork drainage
only about a mile and a half to the North for at least ten years.
