not my sightings; forwarding reports from Cincinnati Birds and Birding Ohio:
At 1:00pm Sunday, June 2, the Ficker family reported two MISSISSIPPI KITES seen at the Home of the Brave Park, Loveland, flying towards Symmes Park. One bird was reported yesterday by both Dana Cornelisen and DinoCostanzo, independently, moving between Home of the Brave Park(11605 North Lebanon Road), and Lever Park(off of W Loveland Rd, between Heidelberg Dr and N Lebanon Rd). These two parks are about 0.5miles apart, and this is where kites were seen last summer.
The LEAST TERN was originally reported on Cincinnati Birds by Neil Cade atCampbell Lakes Preserve, Hamilton Co., seen at 11:00am on Sunday, June 2. A photo by Robin Smith Costanzo was posted on Birding Ohio; Robin reports the bird was still present as of 3pm Sunday.
The Least Tern is at 1043 Campbell RD Harrison Ohio, go to end of parking lot
follow trail to the right 100 yards, then left 100 yards and look for
gravel bar next to bank, center lake.
