(Sorry for the late post)
On Sunday morning 7-28 a pair of adult Sandhill Cranes were feeding in a soybean field 2 miles NW of Lodi in Medina County (Harrison Twp.). We watched for 5-10 minutes and looked to see if there were any young present (there were none), because there were a few marshy low spots in the adjacent fields within several hundred yards of their location, possibly able to host nests. They eventually took flight and headed due south - the Wayne County Funk Bottoms are about 20 miles in that direction.
