I just let my little dog out in the back and a little knot of at least 3, maybe 4, Carolina wrens cursed and carried on. I have seen them from time to time but never thought they might be nesting here. Amazing what a tiny woodlot can do for wildlife. Alas, I have not seen our little chipmunks since the big storm a week ago. I hope they were not drowned in their burrows, but I am afraid that is what happened. K Bradley- Berea, Ohio
