Even habitues of the Bird Trail will be interested in what seems to be
the ultimate North American warbler book: The Warbler Guide, authors
Stephenson & Whittle, *560 pages*, just out. Veteran birdman Chuck Otte
has comments at
http://birding.aba.org/message.php?mesid=474379&MLID=KS&MLNM=Kansas
which are intriguing. I was intrigued to see that the authors ignore
the ever-changing official taxonomy, instead arranging the warblers
alphabetically by English name! Pretty sensible, seems to me.
