The lake is too high for shorebirds at the north end. The beach at the state
park at the south end has had 2 Willets and Semipalmated Plovers the last
couple days. This location does not attract high numbers but there has been
good quality over the years with shorebirds such as Buff-breasted Sandpiper
and Black-bellied Plover. The 2 large parking lots always have flocks of
gulls with terns mixed in. It's worth checking out.

Subject: [Ohio-birds] Mosquito Lake
Had anyone visited the north end of Mosquito Lake to see if there is any
shorebird habitat or activity.
Thanks,
