Nina Harfmann and I were birding at Slate Run Metropark today around 3:30 and spotted a sandhill 
crane family with 2 adults and 2 colts.  The cranes were standing in a large area of smartweed on the 
East end of the kokomo wetland trail.  This is the second time in the last three weeks that we have 
spotted the cranes in that stretch.
