Hi all,
   Two Marbled Godwits were easily viewed in the crane creek estuary at Ottawa NWR this afternoon. Just park in the Magee lot and take the estuary trail until you reach the benches. The godwits were most easily viewed by looking west from the next open area to the south (left). Thanks to Justin Bosler for initially reporting these birds! Not much else of note in the estuary- a few other long-legged shorebird species and gulls and terns.
