Greetings

The first Local Patch pelagic of the fall saw a gorgeous day on the lake. We covered 55 miles and went out to the Canadian border at 15.5 miles out, heading towards Pelee Island. While no rare jaegers were found, Gabe had a brief look at a SABINE'S GULL at 11 miles out that eluded us even though we have direct chase. 41 BLACK TERNS foraging off the boat was spectacular. 5 gull species including many Bonaparte's, over 100 Common Terns and many Forster's Terns were seen, and a few folks on the bow had brief but close looks at two RED-NECKED PHALAROPES lifting off and bee-lining it away, at 7 miles out.
