Went to Indian Lake's Oldfield Beach today, and got close to 30 species. 3 shorebirds were seen. The highlight of the day was getting point blank shots of a Molting Sanderling and Lesser Yellowlegs. The Sanderling walked by me within inches twice. I posted pictures on the Birding Ohio Facebook page and on my photography page. List of birds seen was posted on eBird, and is below.
Oldfield Beach at Indian Lake is one of those beaches that everyone should visit if they are in the area...especially this year as the cooler temps are keeping most people off the beach.
Happy Birding and God Bless!
