Unfortunately, water levels are still abysmally high, so nix on the shorebirds, but did find some herons. I stopped at Oxbow Island, Wiese Rd., and the Galena Boardwalk. Saw it at Carriage Hill Metro Park today and last Sat along the boardwalk that
Goes through the cat tails. A Green Heron was seen both days as well. Last week we had a solitary sandpiper but none today.
