Greetings,

Three hours of birding at Blendon Woods Metro Park (Franklin Co.) this
morning from 0800-1100 with Dan Sanders, Doreene Linzell, and Bill Kinkead
produced a few migrants, with the most notable bird being a winter-plumaged
Clay-colored Sparrow along the southern edge of the first loop of the pet
trail. It started on the field side of the trail, then moved to the woods
side, working its way west along the wood line. I attempted to get an
iPhone photo through my binoculars, but the bird was moving around too much.

Good birding,

Joe Hammond
Columbus, OH
