I was at the Wilderness Road ponds near Funk in Wayne Co this morning from
9:30 to 11am. This site has been excellent for shorebirds in recent weeks,
but this morning it seemed that the species numbers and diversity was less
than when I was there a week ago. In addition, the water level has come us
some, leaving less favorable habitat than before. The highlight was the
continuing Am. golden plovers, of which there were about 60 there this
morning.

Total shorebird list was:
Am. golden plover - 60
Killdeer - 75+
Lesser yellowlegs - 5
Semipalmated sandpiper - 6
Pectoral sandpiper - 12
Dunlin - 2
Wilson's snipe - 1
