[log in to unmask][log in to unmask], 9 Sep 2013 13:09:19 -0400543_us-ascii Bird still present but very wary. After turning west onto Wilderness Road from Elyria Road and passing by the house on the corner, start looking on the right (north side) side of the road (side without telephone poles). Bird hanging out low in one of two tall black cherry trees in the middle of the field. Sits on dead limb 5 feet above ground on left tree. Spends much time out of sight catching grasshoppers. Park your car as close to the bridge as possible then walk back. Bird is wary, even though it is 100 yards from road [...]46_9Sep201313:09:[log in to unmask]

The water is quickly evaporating at the "lake". However, we were able to
enjoy watching 3 immature bald eagles. The 26 great egrets that have been
present for the past few weeks seem to have vacated the premises. Wood
ducks were down in number this morning. Most other mornings there have been
as many as 40+ along the far shore. Other species included:

Lesser yellowlegs
Pectoral sp
Least sp
Semipalmated sp
Semipalmated plover
Killdeer
Great blue herons
Belted kingfisher
Ring-billed gulls
Mallards

Enjoy the pleasant weather!
