Went to Berlin Lake around 11:30AM. All the shorebirds had moved since
Bob Lanes report. They were concentrated off of 225, before Price Rd.
You cross a bridge on 225 before price Rd., pass one house on your right
and then a fisherman's parking lot on your right. Walk to the shoreline
and turn right. Walk about a 1/4 mile or so. The birds were
concentrated all along there. Many killdeer, pectorals, a.g.plovers.
From there went to Funk; great way to end the day. The Hudsonian
Godwits (4) put on quite a show. Nice to see them in flight and see the
white rump patch. Good selection of shorebirds as reported by others.
Had 30 Sandhill Cranes on Blachleyville Rd./95. Twelve were in flight
and the rest were in the fields.
