Wife and I were heading out of LaRue today along Larue-Kenton Rd. She turns to me, and says "Are there birds that live in cornfields?....Big birds?...sort of grey/white...cause I just saw one."...

Of course I scream to turn around...to late...oh well.

She has also heard some calling cranes near sunset...so we have might have some hiding around the village here...hopefully they are polite, and come out so I can take their picture. :-D

Other than that, pretty much typical birds around here this week: House Sparrows, Ivory billed woodpeckers, Goldfinches, Harpie Eagles, White breasted nuthatches, Dodo birds, and Red tailed Hawks...pretty typical.

Happy Birding!

Steve J.
