I made a quick run through several parks along the Scioto River this morning, starting at Scioto Audubon, then moving north to the Marble Cliff bikepath, and finishing at Griggs Dam. I didn't have time to check out the Shrum Mound Quarry. No big fallout of migrants anywhere, but interesting birds nonetheless. Notables included:

cormorants - 20+ above the Greenlawn Dam, while another 25+ were above Griggs Dam
Great Egrets - only 2 were above the Greenlawn Dam, despite the lower water levels here
Green Herons - 1 was above the Greenlawn dam, while another was at the Marble Cliff ponds
Wood Pewees - still fairly numerous, with 2-4 at every site
Acadian Flycatcher - 1 was calling in the riparian forest below Griggs Dam
Great Crested Flycatcher - at least 1 was along the Marble Cliff bikepath
Swallows - hardly any, with only 3 Barns the entire morning
Vireos - good day for Warbling, with 12 for the morning; Scioto Audubon led with 7
Gnatcatchers - still 2 at Scioto Audubon
Thrushes - still nothing other than small flocks of Robins at many locations
Mimids - Catbirds at many locations, while an adult & juvenile Mockingbird were in the fields north of the Grange Center
Cedar Waxwings - flocks of 25 were at Scioto Audubon (the boat launch area) and below Griggs Dam.
Warblers - slow morning again. Scioto had 2 Blackburnians, a Chesnut-sided, a Magnolia, and a Yellow-throated. Griggs added another Chesnut-sided and a Redstart
Sparrows - little of anything; even the Song Sparrows were quiet in the north fields at Scioto Audubon
Orioles - 1 Baltimore was at Scioto Audubon, just NW of the Grange Center
