The first meeting will be next week in Marysville, on Wednesday, September 18th, at 7:30 p.m. You don't need to be a Union County resident to attend; our group is going to organize birding trips and bring in speakers about interesting topics. Was surprised to find a first year Black-billed Cuckoo
 in the yard this AM.

I have spent the last 20 years growing Milk Weed in the yard.

I had no Monarchs this year but do have Milk weed tussock (SP?)moth
caterpillars that the Black-billed Cuckoo was eating up a storm.

Did manage to get a few photos. He did not stay long.

I moved 3 caterpillars to another plant that he could see and the Cuckoo
flew in and ate them.
