Greetings
I had an early appt in Westerville this morning so stopped to bird the
goldenrod trail at Blendon Woods.

Only notable bird was a nice Whip crusing the parkinglot at the nature
center at dawn. It made to circles and disappeared. Fast stiff flight, on
longish, distinctly round wings. Large head and longish tail tail. wings
held out straight without bend, crook, or angle. Seems late but banding
records in eastern states (due east) regularly catch them through Oct. and
often Nov. Unlike Chuck, a truly different beast!

On species of warbler: Common Yellowthroat.

I expect the arriving front to provide good birding this weekend!

Best to all
