Thanks Jen for making me get off the computer and down to the boardwalk!
I was not able to relocate the Kirtland's, but several birders are searching for it, and more birders are arriving. News travels fast these days. Instantaneous. So I'm sure someone will find the bird!
Anyway, there are a LOT of birds at the boardwalk and great variety too. One birder reported a Brewster's Warbler also. The birds are actively feeding and some are even singing! In fact, that is how they located the Kirtland's in the first place.
So come to Magee if you can and bring your bug spray.

Happy Birding!

Kent Miller and Ben Morrison had a male Kirtlands 45 min ago on the boardwalk between markers 15 and 16, working its way west 3 feet above the ground.
