We have quite a few chimney swifts working the chimneys of older buildings
in downtown Marysville. Several chimneys appear to be only 18 x 18 inches.
We were amazed at how they fly into them at what appears to be full flight
speed and then apparently land on the interior vertical walls with such
limited room for maneuvering. I would love to see video of this. I am sure
flight engineers marvel at this.
