The clear and cold weather around Columbus appears to have pushed in the first waves of waterfowl and one of the last waves of temperate landbird migrants, if totals at these 2 reservoirs north of Columbus are any indication. I focused 4 hours on the southern portion of Alum and the northern part of Hoover. I had flocks of Horned Grebes and a few Loons on Alum Creek lake (which is hunted), while un-hunted Hoover had larger flocks of ducks. Stops at Oxbow Island on Hoover and New Galena at Alum Creek Lake also found good #s of temperate migrants. Notables included:

Dabbling Ducks - Hoover had flocks of Mallards, Black Ducks, Gadwall, and American Wigeon, mostly in the north third
Diving Ducks - Alum had a few Lesser Scaup dodging hunters; Hoover had more as well as 15+ Ring-necks and 130+ Ruddy Ducks
Grebes - 18+ Horned Grebes were in small flocks along Alum's shore, while Hoover had 8, as well as 3 Pied-bills.
Loons - at least 3 were in the wide southern end of Alum Creek Lake
Other waterbirds - Hoover had 40+ cormorants, mostly around the Sunbury causeway. A flock of 30 Coots was off Oxbow Island.
Shorebirds - I only found a few Kildeer, mostly near the Boardwalk at Hoover's north end.. Rising water levels have covered mudflats all along the Hoover shore.
Gulls - the first waves of Bonapartes, with 10+ at Hoover and 20+ at Alum Lake joining the regular flocks of Ring-bills
Sharp-Shinned Hawks - singles were at Oxbow Island (Hoover) and off Cheshire Launch (Alum)
Bald Eagle - an immature flew south over SummerRidge access at Alum Creek Lake
Osprey - a late bird was still soaring around the boardwalk area at the north end of Hoover
Pileated Woodpecker - 1 bird was at New Galena boat launch, an unusual spot for them
Sapsucker - singles were at Oxbow Island and at New Galena boat launch
Red-headed Woodpecker - 1 was calling in the dead trees off the Galena Boardwalk, a recently regular spot for them.
E.Phoebe - singles were at SummerRidge access (Alum) and the Galena Boardwalk (Hoover)
Tree Swallows - small groups were all over Alum Creek Lake, mostly foraging over the water; Hoover had fewer.
Rough-winged Swallows - a late pair were foraging around the shoreline of Oxbow Island early
Blue Jays - a small late push, with 12+ at Oxbow Island and another 15+ at New Galena launch
Kinglets - small #s of Golden-crowns and single Ruby crowns were at both Oxbow Island and New Galena
E.Bluebirds - first southbound groups were 5 at Oxbow Island and 10+ at New Galena boat launch
Robins - small flocks pretty much everywhere, especially around Oxbow Island and New Galena
Cedar Waxwings - small flocks moving through, with 40+ at Oxbow Island and 50+ at New Galena
Yellow-rumped Warblers - steady good #s all morning. Oxbow Island had 20+, New Galena had 25+.
Sparrows - a flock of 14 Chipping was at New Galena, while White-throated flocks were at many places. A single Swamp was at the marsh pond at SummerRidge access, while 6 Juncos were at New Galena
Blackbirds - no big movement here, with only around 20 moving past Oxbow Island early
