Today at 1:30 PM I saw a Winter Wren at the Blendon Woods nature center
getting a drink at the stream out back. It spent quite a bit of time
hopping around and on top of a stump alongside the far bank of the stream.

Not long after seeing the wren, a white squirrel chased a normally-colored
Gray Squirrel into the area of the feeders and the stream. It had pink ears
but I couldn't tell if its eyes were pink as well- they looked dark.

Also, I glimpsed a possible Connecticut Warbler in the thickets not far from
the nature center where the path splits to go to the pond and to the little
nature amphitheater.

Otherwise, there were lots of Yellow-Rumped Warblers to be seen, and a
Muskrat and a Mink were at the pond.

Good birding,
Tracy the Birder
