Fall is here and hunting season is among us at Magee Marsh.  The road is and will be CLOSED just past the Sportsmen's Migratory Bird Center entrance September 30- October 26, and from November 4- December 7.  The road is OPEN Saturdays from noon to sunset and Sunday sunrise to sunset EXCEPT during the Youth Hunt October 5th & 6th and November 23rd & 24th.  The closure includes Woodies Roost, the Partnership trail, the beach trails and the boardwalk.

This closure is in effect for your safety.  Please heed the posted warnings and do not go past the signs.

The Sportsmen's Migratory Bird Center is OPEN and visitors may access the trails directly behind the building.  Any additional information regarding road closures will be posted on the Friends of Magee website http://friendsofmageemarsh.org/calendar.php

Additionally, all trails and the Visitor Center at Ottawa NWR are closed until further notice from the federal government.
