It is presently 10:30AM Saturday morning, on the shore of Lake Erie in Ashtabula County. We are enjoying the company of eight American Avocets. They are in close for great photo opportunities. They flew in about 9:30AM and seem content resting in shallow water. Fellow birders enjoying the spectacle with my wife Denise and I, are Bob Krajeski and Ryan Golterman. If we find anything else of interest, we will post about it!
