As of 3PM, Saturday afternoon, the previously reported Red-necked Grebe was still present at West Branch Reservoir. To reach the viewing site go west on Cable Line Road from SR225, turn right on Gilbert Road. Follow to the end of the road at the picnic area parking lot. Walk east, (right), across the grass and scope toward the dam. The celebrity visitor can easily be seen. Rain! Rain! Rain! Red-necked Grebe is #297 for Ohio in 2013 for both Denise and I.
