Went out Thursday afternoon. A bit too windy to get good looks at
sparrows but many were around.
Had quick looks at Song, White Throat and a Clay-colored. Some
sandpipers were also flying around, but too far out to i d.
Also saw Ruddy Ducks, Coots, a Yellow-rumped Warbler and was entertained
by a quintet of E. Meadowlarks.

The real news though was the lack of trees there. Both of the small
woodlots adjacent to the parking lot
are gone. No doubt migrant warblers and such will be bypassing this area
in the future. Sad.....

See you on the trails.
