Upon our arrival at "The Conneaut Sandspit" today, Friday, at 2:15PM, we found 16 Snow Buntings struggling in the wind. It is 49 degrees with light rain and strong winds. There is much less bird activity today, with parasail boarders and sail boarders actively disturbing everything. Big change from yesterday, today there are only 4 Dunlin present. Waterfowl are pretty much missing. 3 Gadwall and 4 Horned Grebes are about it. Large numbers of Double-crested Cormorants are still on the go. A flock of 20+ Bonaparte's Gulls are in the harbor.

Bob and Denise Lane / Mahoning County
