Greetings -
The Red Phalarope continued all day today off the east seawall at East 55th street, right at the base of the wall where views were to 8-10 feet. STUNNING BIRD.
Phil Chaon found a SNOWY OWL when we were at Edgewater Marina-- walk the breakwall out to view the harbor to the east, bird was first found sitting on the breakwall just below the large piles of iron ore. Then, flew to the top of a massive gravel pile. Was viewed throughout the afternoon towards evening.
At least one 1st year LITTLE GULL continues to put on a mind-bending show at Edgewater Marina, views are absolutely, unbelievably incredible.
Black and Surf Scoters were offshore upper Edgewater as well as Long-tailed Duck. Over 400 Horned Grebes were offshore Edgewater.
A Red-necked Grebe continues to offer fantastic views at Gordon Park marina.
*NO sightings of Black-legged Kittiwake today.
