Linda and I took a walk at Char Mar I the early afternoon. Our first find were two Barred Owls in the evergreen grove where they prefer to roost. Later as we walked the trail we encountered hoards of Yellow-rumped Warblers (100+), Golden-crowned and Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Cedar Waxwings, Carolina Wrens and the resident woodpecker species. At the lake there were over 100 Gadwall plus Wood Ducks, American Wigeon, Green-winged Teal, Northern Shoveler, and a couple of American Black Ducks.
