Snow buntings were at LaDue Reservoir this afternoon. Five of them,
again in the parking lot by the boat dock, just like last year. Must look like home....they
were resting and foraging in the short weedy patches that grow through the gravel.

Otherwise fairly uneventful. A few small rafts of ducks on the far side of the
reservoir, but I could pick out a couple of n. shovelers, the usual ruddy ducks
and hooded mergansers. Lots of coots and two c. loons.
