A few of us went out birding at Buck Creek State Park in Clark County this
morning. At the south end of the lake we found three Surf Scoters and two
Black Scoters. We also got good looks at a Red-necked Grebe. There were
several species of ducks on the lake as well as Common Loons, Pied-billed
Grebes, and Horned Grebes. At the north end of the lake on the mudflats
there were 26 Dunlins and three Greater Yellowlegs.
