I took a walk around Acacia Reservation today at lunch. There was a Merlin
perched atop a deciduous tree one fairway north of the small central pond.
This bird was reported about a month ago on this list.
(Thanks, Jim, for the giving me the general area to search!)
Not much else around except for red-bellied woodpeckers and blue jays. The
ponds were all frozen, much to the dismay of one small flock of Canada geese
that flew in while I was there.
Ken
