Dick Hoopes and I endured the cold wind this afternoon and were rewarded with 7 Snow Buntings about 4:45pm. They  were on the south side of the entrance road near the pile of large rocks. Initially they were nervous and kept flying away then returning, but as it got darker they were more intent on feeding and we got pretty close for excellent views  

There was also a large flock of American Tree Sparrows in the same vicinity.  We estimated 30-50 of them.
