Rick Asamoto and I observed a Great Black Backed Gull (found by Rick) this
evening at about 5:00 PM today in the Great Miami River in Downtown Dayton.
The area is just upriver from the Stewart St bridge and down river of the
Washington St bridge. Best views are at the Veterans Park which runs
parallel to the river here. The gull is a 1st winter bird. Rick was able to
get photos.

This is the same location that Chris Zacharias had found a Glaucous Gull
the last two nights and a Lesser Black backed Gull at least one night.

There were dozens of Herring and a thousand Ring-billed Gulls present also.
The Glaucous did not show up while we were there and we did not observe the
Lesser Black Backed Gull in the crowd.
