Hello,

My boyfriend just texted me that he saw a possible Golden Eagle working on a deer carcass on the west side of Route 42, .3 miles north of State Route 29, by the little darby creek. It is about 30 to 40 feet off the road. He drives this route for work several times a day and has seen it most of the morning, including about 5 minutes ago. He does know what Golden Eagles look like because he has been out west a bit. The bird does have talons and feathers on its head, so it is definitely not a turkey vulture. Might also be an immature eagle, but my boyfriend did not have time to stop. Thought I would let people know, so those who have time and are in the area might check it out.

Thanks,

Elayna M. Grody
