Snowy Owl Seen in Conneaut out on the sandbar. I parked at the bluffs above the beach and walked down to the breakwall hoping to spot some new gulls (with no luck). Then I nearly tripped over a snowy sitting on the ice scanning. I came up on it at about 150ft and VERY calmly and slowly circled around it so as not to scare it away. This bird was very uncaring that I was there. I took a few shots and slowly backed away. It was still there when I left at about 4p. What an awesome experence!!! http://www.flickr.com/photos/100129144@N03/
